Performing Arts United (PAU) receives $10,000 grant by Best Buy Foundation, for Camp “Beat Lab”, teaching music production to At Risk Youth, in South Sacramento.

   

Performing Arts United (PAU) receives $10,000 grant from Best Buy Foundation, for Camp “Beat Lab”, teaching music production to At Risk Youth, in South Sacramento. The grant awarded from Best Buy Foundation is a community grant to support music production programs, to help underserved teens develop 21st technology skills to prepare for college / careers and bridge the digital divide. The foundation is made possible through contributions of Best Buy Co., Inc. retail store operations and special event fundraising. 

Performing Arts United (PAU) a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization (est. 2012), based out of Sacramento Ca., that promotes the Arts through Music Production,  Songwriting/ Vocal Training, Dance and Video Production (recording/editing). PAU offers instruction by professional independent artists / instructors, to at risk youth and communities underserved of performing arts for encouragement through development and practice of their artistic inquiry or talent.

Performing Arts United (PAU), currently teaches Camp “Beat Lab”, at Rio Cazadero High School (7825 Grandstaff Dr.), in South Sacramento off of Mack Rd., helping students earn high school credits towards graduation and consider music production as an art discipline while attending college or trade school, upon completion. Camp “Beat Lab”, is FREE to students and operate as an after school program, providing a safe place of instruction and practice, to help reduce crime and delinquent behavior, in the community.
